These terms and conditions govern the taxi and private hire services provided by Tunbridge Wells Station Taxis. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Bookings

Bookings can be made by phone on 01892 322 100, on WhatsApp, or through our online booking form. A booking is confirmed once we have acknowledged it. For airport transfers we recommend booking in advance so we can track your flight.

Fares and payment

Airport and long-distance fares are fixed and agreed at the time of booking. Local fares are charged on the meter using the maximum tariff set by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. We accept cash, card, contactless and mobile payments. Additional charges may apply for extended waiting time, additional stops, tolls, congestion charges, or cleaning required due to soiling of the vehicle.

Cancellations

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking. Cancellations at short notice, or where a driver has already been dispatched, may incur a charge.

Waiting time

A period of free waiting time is included for airport collections. Additional waiting time may be charged at the standard tariff rate.

Liability

We aim to arrive on time for every journey but are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather and road closures. Our liability is limited to the value of the journey. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Lost property

Please contact us as soon as possible if you leave an item in one of our vehicles. We will make every effort to reunite you with lost property but cannot accept responsibility for items left behind.

Conduct

For the safety of passengers and drivers, we ask that all passengers behave responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse or end a journey where a passenger is abusive or unsafe.
